Collaborated with the project team and a new website hosting vendor to transition the current website from an Ektron CMS to a SharePoint platform. This migration involved not only a complete redesign of the website’s look and feel but also a comprehensive content overhaul. Additionally, change management was implemented to support the Marketing team and general staff in adapting to the new platform and updating content regularly.
Collaborated with the project team to establish a new secondary data center for enhanced business continuity and geographic diversity. This initiative involved the installation of new equipment and circuits. Additionally, the team partnered with a vendor to implement a disaster recovery replication solution, ensuring system redundancy and minimizing data loss in the event of an emergency.
Collaborated with the project team to implement a new ShoreTel VoIP solution, replacing the existing PBX landline system. This transition involved migrating standard company phone numbers, 800 numbers, and fax lines. The change management aspect included training staff on the new VoIP softphone system (covering call center operations, transfers, voicemail, etc.), the use of headsets in place of physical phones, and the adoption of softfax for faxing instead of traditional machines. This new phone system not only improved operational efficiency but also positioned the company for greater business continuity and long-term sustainability.
Collaborated with the project team to select a new SharePoint hosting platform that provided enhanced marketing and communication capabilities compared to the previous solution. The new platform featured an updated design (not a complete redesign), along with general content updates. The team also streamlined the site's navigation for improved usability and easier access to content. The change management process was minimal, focusing on training the marketing team and staff responsible for content updates.
Collaborated with the project team to select a cloud-based VoIP solution, replacing the previous on-premise system. The new solution, 8x8, was chosen for its enhanced call center capabilities and full unified communications features. The team managed the migration of all existing phone numbers and created new direct lines for all staff. Change management was supported through training sessions, lunch-and-learn events, instructional videos, and user guides. The training covered general phone operations (voicemail, transfers, etc.), call center processes, messaging, and virtual meetings. Additionally, the call attendant flows were completely redesigned to streamline customer support and improve the caller experience.
